Determine Your Audience. Does your audience enjoy watching online videos? Will they benefit from watching a video with your post, and will they enjoy it? Where are your audience members when they read your blog; are they in front of their computer or mobile with a few minutes to spare? Or are they caught up in a busy work environment where the best and most convenient blogs are text only? These answers will help you determine whether or not your audience can benefit from a video blog.

Be a Representative. One of the biggest benefits of a video is that you are able to put a human face to your content, and in essence, be a representative for your company. This will add a more personalized tone to your blogs and your audience will appreciate that. If you don’t like being in front of a camera, why not hire a model to do this on your behalf?

Take the Time. Determine whether you have the extra time to create a video for your post; it might be a bit more time consuming since you will have to record your message, in addition to writing the text. If you don’t do a lot of posts, this won’t be a problem at all. Keep in mind that if you do a lot of posts, say daily, you might run short on time since it can take a whole day to create a 3 minute video post. On the flip side, there are many video production companies that can take help you to create them.

Prepare for Success. There is no doubt that video blogging is becoming very popular all over the globe. More and more bloggers are including video with their blog posts and they are seeing a significant increase in the amount of views their page receives. It’s a great way of interacting with your existing clients and to acquire new ones; but it does take a lot of time and effort to prepare. If you are willing to take the time and effort, prepare to see the popularity of your blogs increase.

The future of video blogging looks very promising to say the least, and it is one of the most powerful tools that bloggers can use to increase their audience and build on their existing customers. With so many benefits to offer, video blogging is well worth the effort and even if you cannot upload a new post every day, just start with one every month; you will enjoy blogging success like never before.
